With less than an hour left to this most interesting (in the regrettable, Chinese proverbial sense) year, I want to wish you all a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2009 (acknowledging that all calendars and new years are arbitrary and conventional, human symbolic inventions, media and technologies, not natural occurrences).
