Fordham in the Money

No, this isn't about alumni donations or corporate giving, or the Fordham University development office.  It's just another recent mention of Fordham on television, just like my last post, Fordham Night Live, which was about this past weekend's Saturday Night Live monologue, which featured Jennifer Lopez.

So, one of the students in my Writing for Online Media class at Fordham (see my post from last month, Online Writers at Fordham University) mentioned my post in class tonight, and another informed me that movie star Shia LaBeouf also dropped the F-bomb (F for Fordham, what were you thinking?) in a recent appearance on the talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.  Following up on my post, she put a post during class (not during actual class time, just during our break, or so she claims) called Fordham's Recent TV Shout Outs.  And she notes that LaBeouf was actually on our campus in the Bronx not too long ago for the filming of Wall Street 2, directed once again by Oliver Stone.

So, here's the clip, which is dated February 19:

As you can see, it's available on YouTube, under the title, Shia LaBeouf Talks About Making Money.  I don't know why they didn't call it Shia LaBeouf Talks About Fordham, but what can I say?  It's only business...

yea I was actually scheduled to work on that with a few other kids but we didn't make it over...Fordham seems to be a hot spot for movie shootings...I think the best celeb event Fordham hosted was the good morning america episode featuring the live concert Bono held on the steps of Keating...its all pretty cool
